The internship fair was good. It was very weird being on the other side of the table… I’m probably not supposed to write about the candidates, so I wont, however there were a lot of qualified candidates. Good work Rutgers!

The food was great too! They had a ton of sandwiches and assorted breakfast foods. Funny thing is, I don’t remember any of that being in the dining hall when I had a meal plan… Guess they bring out the good ingredients for guests.

Tomorrow I will be attending the Undergraduate Internship Fair at Rutgers in New Brunswick, NJ. I will be representing my current employer Just Collect, and am looking for full time or part time software engineers. If you are looking for a position, please email programmer@justcollect.com including a resume and salary requirements. Now that I am done with my pitch, let me just say how weird it is going to be looking to hire. For the past few months I have been on the other side of the interview table and have been grilled on just about every programming question ever asked, so I at least have some good things to ask. I don’t think it will be so much interview type questions as it will be pitching the company. I don’t think pitching Just Collect will be very hard, we sell sports collectibles and have the best software in the industry. We have changed the way large producers of PSA graded cards do data entry, and have become the largest consignment seller of sports memorabilia on eBay. Anyone taking a position will change the way the industry does business, if that doesn’t sell the company then they must be crazy…
